  2. I just love watching Dale Jr drive every weekend. I have one hold room in my house that has everything Dale Jr. When I watch the races I have two computers going and the T.V. I just want to know what he is doing during the race. I also listen to him on the computer. I have read most of the books about him.

  4. I am a Dale Earnhardt Jr fan because he is real. He speaks his mind; owns up to his mistakes and is very savvy. I love how he is always there for the kids. He donates so much time and money to different charities and that is awesome. He gives back not to just his community but to his fans. I wish him the best in everything that he does. I just think he is the total package.

  6. Hello, I thought that I would write was my thoughts about Dale Earnhardt Jr.
I would not say that I’m the world’s biggest Dale Earnhardt Jr fan but I do have a large collection dedicated to the whole Earnhardt family, which includes Dale Senior, Kerry, Kelly and Dale Jr.

I have found that at times he seems to be hesitant while driving one knows tracks may be due to the fact that deep in his mind he fears that the same thing will happen to him that happened to his father at Daytona. But, you do have to respect the things he is doing in other aspects of NASCAR. He is giving different drivers a chance to get started in the sport by driving the car is that he owns in the Nationwide series.

I myself also have a disability since 1988 and do not have a lot of money to spend one diecast. The ones I have were given to me as gifts on birthdays and other occasions which span back many years to the point of having a diecast car that Dale Earnhardt Sr drove back in 1984 during a Busch grand national race, it was sponsored by wrangler jeans and the number of the car was seven. That should give you some kind of idea of what kind of loyal collector i have been.
Thank you for your time and I continue to look forward to reading your future articles.

  8. I think I am the world’s biggest fan of Jr’s. I love to watch him whether he’s racing or is giving an interview. I get extremely nervious when it’s race time, especially at Daytona and Talladega, afraid something might happen to him. My in-laws are not fans at all and when they say something about Jr., I REALLY get on their case, they tell me I should be his Mom, that’s how the “Mama Donia” came about. I am sooo protective of him. A few months ago, I had to have my gallbladder out, I made sure I voted for him for MPD, the morning before going to the hospital and then voted the next day when I got home. I didn’t miss a day. When Jr. took over the #88, I had a model car with the #88 on it, Bobby Allison had autographed it, when he was driving the #88, I sent the car fed ex to Jr. for his collection. I have several shirts, pictures and etc. but now that we are on s.s., I can’t go to as many races and buy as many things as I would like, if I could afford it, I would have anything and everything that is collectable. I had the great pleasure of meeting his Dad several times and would love to meet Jr. “Love that Junebug”!!!!!

I will not sit here and say that I am his biggest fan as that is up to what others who know me can tell you. I know that I get very emotional whether he is winning or losing. I vote for him each day on Hellman’s site as the MPD (looking forward to the eighth year as the winner). I feel that maternal love that any mother has for her child and I want him to win another Championship Cup before the Lord calls me. Never miss a race as every weekend I have the TV on, the leaderboard on my computer and the recorded race on my second TV. Went to Charlotte last year and visited HMS gift shop to bring the newest shirts, etc; back home to my grandson.
And last, the love he has for his father is the same as I had shared with my Dad, who too was a Chevy man ( I drive a Monte CarloSS, 2002 today)
I guess you can say I am THE BIGGEST JR. FAN !! You tell me……..

  10. Iam totally commited to Jr. I don’t support any one else and that includes the other drivers at HMS. I have two rooms full of his stuff. 8 and 88. I also have quite a few of the diecasts. Bought a display case, filled it, and am now covering every flat space in home. Most women have shoe boxes in closet, die cast boxes fill mine. He introduced me to alot of different kinds of music and I have all the videos he was in on my ipod. He is the wall paper on both my computors and my droid. He is also my ring tone on the droid. I use his picture on facebook. He is a good man. I think that when he can get in his race car without wondering what is going to go wrong today, things will be better for him on the track. Some of the current people surrounding him now, have used his immage and name in a negative manner. I do not do business with them. In other words, do not ugly up a man I would welcome in my home as a son. I also listen to him every race, and watch on computor and tv. Also have season tickets at PIR. I get really annoyed with the folks that say he has to many outside interests and needs to concentrate on the cup side only. Everyone has interests and things they do outside their job, why can’t he? All work and no play is unhealthy. I am also a card carrying member of Jr. Nation and do all my shopping at JRM. By mail and at the track. I don’t know if Iam his biggest fan I only weigh 100 pounds, but… LOL. Take care Jr.

  12. I love Jr. regardless of what he does or is doing. As long as he has success that makes him happy then I am happy for him. I just hope some day, before long, Jr. will, if he hasn’t already, find the love of his life, settle down and have some more little Dale’s. Kelley will look after him, I’m sure and that is good. Love to both of them!!!!!

  14. Want to determine who his biggest fan is? Look for the biggest whopper on why he isn’t winning. My fave so far is: “he isn’t given the “good” cars” and the other drivers are.lol

First let me just say, that yes I am a fan of Dale Jr. But I want to ask a question to all of his fans, I want to know if I am the only one who thinks this way. We all knw that Jr, lost his dad in a race at Daytona, and that is a earth shaking experience in itself, and then Jr was almost burnt up in a road course race in Ca. Now my question is, do you feel that Jr, has lost his nerve to drive, all you have to do is look at the way that he raced before those two events, and then look at the way he has raced since. I feel that he has steadily digrested. I think that the fire at the road course shook him more than loosing his dad, if that is possible, and believe me that would kill anyone’s confidence. I am not slamming Dale Jr. I just want to know some of your thoughts.

  16. I don,t think so Larry. He had no problems winning with the 3. If I write what I have noticed about his cars etc. (I have used a torque wrench) I will just fire up the Jr. haters. He starts the races with confidence in his voice, and sometimes he is completely quiet at the last part. I am probably one of the few people that is not that crazy about HMS. I realize that Mr. Hendrick does not run the day to day operations, so I don,t blame him. Driving a well prepared car like the 3 was proves my point. A cc that knows what he is doing also helps. Only 2 and a half years left on this contract.

  18. Well, Dale, Jr. and Lance McGrew are at it again during practice at Bristol Motor Speedway. My God, when is Hendrick going to get it through his head that this guy does NOT know what the heck he’s doing as a Crew Chief?? This is a disgrace!!

  20. I absolutely love Dale Jr!! I became interested in Nascar racing because my x husband was a huge Dale Sr fan. We use to go to Loudon and Talladega. I have always liked Dale Jr, and budweiser beer!!! One of my friends even bought me a poster, yes a grown adult, for my birthday, to put over my bed!!! I kept it there and since Jr has gone to Hendrick I now have 2 #88 posters over my bed so each morning when I wake up Jr is on top of me!!!!! I am fortunate to have moved to Charlotte, and been blessed to visit his bar, Whiskey River. I have also been blessed to si far in my life go to Charlotte Motor Speedway, Bristol and Darlington, in addition to Loudon and Talladega. My goal is to go to every track in my lifetime. One race in Charlotte he even drove by us on a golf cart!! It was the best trip!!!!!

  22. So many of us are JR fans, we all think we’re #1 but it’s up to you to decide. I was a SR follower for many, many years but when he passed on I did NOT jump on the JR bandwagon, for almost 2 years I watched NASCAR not cheering for anyone. It was a sad time but my love of racing kept me coming back, I knew one day I’d find that one special driver to cheer on. I was happy for Smoke, Happy Harvick, JR and others that raced great but my heart still wasn’t focused on any one driver. I watched every race, watched interviews, read about different drivers, I wanted a driver I could be proud of on and off the track, someone that could get my heart pounding whenever the race started. Finally, one day, I woke up and knew JR was the man. Out of respect for SR I knew JR had to prove himself more then the other drivers, he had to prove himself to me, not because of his Dad but because of his driving skills, his personality on and off the track, his way of helping others plus many more reasons. I may not have as many diecast as others or as much merchandise, (I still wear my red #8 jacket because I can’t afford a newer one) but I stand behind him as a great driver and a wonderful man whether he wins or not. Every driver goes through a slump but, as long as they have heart, they will get back to winning. A real fan stays with their driver not just when they are winning but through the rough times too. He deserves to have fun off the track and live it up, he makes time for numerous charities, a great Son to his Mom, a terrific Brother and Uncle, a fun friend and a driver with alot of heart ………go JR, there will be many wins in your future plus more Championships………..go JR! Thanks for being the person you are you make me proud to be a fan whether or not I’m #1.
