It would not surprise me one bit. He spends most of his time in the air on Air Force One, along with the jets that accompany it. Just heard on the news where a new presidental helicopter is being built, with a kitchen, of all things, at a cost of almost a billion dollars. I think Obama and the Democratic controlled congress are all about what they want, regardless of how we american tax payers feel. Most presidents (since Nascar got so popular), have come to the races and wanted to be part of the sport, NOT OBAMA, he’s too stupid to know what really is important to most AMERICANS. As a Canadian who watches every NASCAR race possible… I have to say that the pre-race ceremonies are truly cherished. And that includes the fly-overs. I get a lump in my throat and a tear in my eye during that bit of business. Every single time. It stands for more than NASCAR.. more than the U.S.A… it stands for human beings united in the love of country (matters not which one)..of fellow man… and a solid appreciation for the men and women who fight for our freedom in perilous situations 24/7. Obama was not my choice for President, however, I was willing to give him a chance. But this time if he cuts out the flyovers, he will go too far. It was bad enough that he helped to fuel the fire with the professor and policeman. He did exactly as I anticipated he would in such a situation. But he needs to leave NASCAR and all sports alone. Anyone associated with NASCAR loves and respects our military.

Obama needs to stay home and save fuel as well as wear and tear on Air Force 1. What does he care about the economy? He’s lives in the best house in the country at our expense. However, he needs to remember the White House belongs to the people. All the politicians in Washington need to take pay cuts. They seem to forget that they work for the people.

I love the National Anthem and the flyovers. It’s a part of the race that gets me excited. NASCAR and other sports are one of the very few things left that make the Americans happy. I think we deserve at least that much.

If he wants to ban anything, he should start with all those congress representives who live within the United States and go back to their families on weekends using government funds (in the millions..I might add). Pelosi should be made to put up or apologise. That won’t happen, it’s been swept under the rug of obstinateness.

I don’t care what side of the isle it is, there needs to be accountability. This week one was convicted of accepting bribes. Who keeps $90k in their freezer? If it was legit put it in the bank or invest it.

Go to the meetings, make your voice heard. If that don’t work…VOTE!!!!!!! There should be term limits to the amount of time one holds office. The President has 8 and that’s it. Never be fooled… only a couple of them on The Hill knows how it is like to live the way everyday people do. If I recall correctly, after ones term in congress they will get around $15k a month pention and life time health benifits free. Do you ever think they will take “our” dose of medicine? I think not.

Words to land someone in jail or under the jail. goldie did they offer U.S.History where you went to school, or are you so misinformed and clueless that in the U.S.Constituion that the First Amendment is the part of the United States Bill of Rights that expressly prohibits the United States Congress from making laws that would infringe the right of freedom of speech, limit the right to peaceably assembly assemble, or limit the right to petition the government for the redress of grievances.

Although the First Amendment explicitly applies to the Congress, the Supreme Court has interpreted it as applying to the executive and judicial branches to whit in the 20th century the Supreme Court held that the Due Process Clause of the 14th Amendment applies the limitations of the First Amendment to each state, including any local government within a state.

Jefferson, and Madison were the first critics to uphold the First Amendment in 1798 protecting people who the government wanted to suppress under the “Alien and Sedition Acts” in that year, and it never went to court because of the unconstitutionally based on the First Amendment.

Espionage Act of 1917 imposed a stiff sentence of twenty years to anyone that caused or attempted to cause insubordination, disloyalty, mutiny, or refusal of duty in the Armed Forces. There were over two thousand prosecutions in these matters. Amen. Obama knows nothing about NASCAR and NASCAR doesn’t care for his anti-American tactics. Our USA is going down-the-drain and all he does is goof-off……..like, getting into sports, etc., where he does not belong. Obama needs to stop trying to be a celebrity and start running this country. He has no business sticking his nose in any of the sports and also he has no business sticking his nose in a town’s police arrest of someone because they can handle it, they have long before he came along. He needs to stick to what he was elected to do.
