What Will it Take to Make This Car Faster?

Dale Earnhardt Jr has had a competitive car since the season started in Daytona. He has consistently ran up front, leading more than his share of races.
Yet Earnhardt has only one win to show for it so far. The No. 88 team is missing it — but not by much.
Dale Jr seems to be just a few small tweaks away from raising his race team to championship caliber — if only he and Tony Eury Jr could find the answer.
What will it take to get Dale Jr consistently in Victory Lane?

Jr has been very competitive all season. I believe his pit crew has let him down a few times for being too slow compared to other pit crews. He would be up front and when he pitted, he would lose positions coming out. That don’t get you wins. So hopefully his crew has been practicing faithfully and will be on the ball for the rest of the races. Also, Tony Jr. has to be more on the ball. All in all, I think it is a good crew and they will have their turn. I’m just hoping the Hendrick teams are all supporting each other in this chase.

Kyle Bush NEEDS A RUDE AWAKENING and someone will eventually do that. He is pigheaded and shows NO RESPECT to other drivers. LET US NOT FORGET HE TOOK OUT JR TO GET WHERE HE IS AT THIS POINT.
JR NEEDS TO STRAIGHTEN OUT TONI EURY, WHEN I LISTENED TO THE RADIO THING HE WAS TELLING HIS CREW CHEIF WHEN TO COME AND GO, OR WHATEVER, WHEN YOU LISTEN TO TONI,JR HE SEEMS TO TAKE EVERYTHING EXTREMELY LIGHTLY. GOOD LUCK — JR

I beleive Jr. is pretty spoiled and he’s got what he’s wanted in racing for a long while and he just doesn’t have the fire that it takes to go all out for conditioning and put racing number one beyond anything else to win a championship….I definatly hated seeing him going to HMS I don’t believe that was the right move. He should of suck it up and moved his team from Busch up to Nascar and started his own team. I believe that would of gave him the desire to work day in and day out on being the best he could ever be. He could of recieved backing from any big dollar companies out there and hired whoever he wanted. Good luck Jr. and go start your own team…

If Jr. had the car, he would be winning more races, I don’t care how good of a driver you are, you can’t win if the car can’t do what you need it to do, what’s this with horsepower? They took away 15 hp’s from Toyota??? Isn’t there a standard for all ? I’m a Jr. fan no matter what, he is a sweet person, not a hot head like Bush.
