7 NASCAR drivers credit video games for success.

Denny Hamlin – Driver of the No.11 FedEx Toyota won the Pocono 500 on his first attempt at the Pennsylvania race track – and he gave credit to Sierra’s NASCAR Racing video game for the win.

Hamlin spent as much as 3 hours a day driving Pocono Raceway on the Sierra game, and he openly credited the game for his win.

"They got every tree on the site, everything's mapped out perfect. Visually, I know where my letoff points are," Hamlin said of the Papyrus designed NASCAR Racing video game. "I honestly didn't think it would be this easy," Hamlin said after the win.

Dale Earnhardt Jr – Driver if the No. 88 Amp / National Guard Chevrolet is also a big fan of online racing. He and Martin Truex Jr – Driver of the No. 1 Bass Pro Shops Chevy compete against each other on the race track – and in online sim racing.

Elliott Sadler – Driver of the No. 19 Dodge is a fan of EA Sports’ NASCAR 07.  There are a few new things I really like about the game,” Sadler said. “The sense of speed is great. You pass cars they are kind of blurry and this really helps you feel the speed.  We play a lot. On my bus we play between five and seven hours a day. We're into it. We have two Xbox 360's linked together, so it's pretty neat.”

Tony Stewart – Driver of the No. 20 Home Depot Toyota is on the cover of NASCAR 08 by EA Sports. “I am really impressed with the next generation game features and graphics. The realism and authenticity are amazing,” said Stewart.

Kyle Busch and his brother Kurt Busch – both NASCAR drivers – are also big fans of EA Sports NASCAR 07. "As usual, the NASCAR games are pretty much what we are, said Kyle."
