Dixie Speedway in Michigan came up with the ultimate figure 8 demolition derby race -- make everyone tow a trailer and race on a figure 8 road course.

Drivers in trucks, vans and SUVs had to race on the paved Dixie speedway towing some type of trailer. Some drivers towed boats -- some towed campers -- some towed small mobile homes.

They all raced in a figure 8 pattern and almost all the trailers were totally destroyed on that Friday night.

The speedway is a 4/10 mile banked oval that normally hosts Pro Late Models and modifieds on the track.
