That prank was way out of line.Tony is to good of a driver to have one person who thinks he is great to do something like and Tony should really go after him.In my book is real jerk.

I really don’t understand what everyone is so upset about. Lee Roy Mercer is known for this exact kind of thing. All of the drivers know who he is. He has a whole CD for sale on his website that is nothing but prank calls to drivers, with commentary by Jeff Hammond and Kenny Wallace. Doesn’t seem like it could be a real prank, when he gives his name right from the start.

Tony is a really smart guy and I think he just went along with the prank knowing that this guy is a jerk and he just played along to see how far he was going to take this whole thing.
I’m sure Tony has placed a prank call in his day and just went along with for fun. Notice Tony never lost his temper.

I was very proud of Tony. He was very polite and tried to talk with the man. With all the pushing the man was doing I think I would have lost my cool much sooner. I would love to have heard the end. Good going Tony.

some of you idiots need to grow up. Every body that has heard mercer knows he pulls this kind of pranks. All good, clean, fun. The language he uses if you are over five years old you have probably used the same or worse. If you don’t like what mercer says or does, don’t listen to him. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think Tony held his cool pretty damn good myself. Im sure he found out it was a prank & hell Mercer even gave his name at the beginnig of the phone call, Tony should have known something was up..but I would have loved to hear the rest of the phone call.Must have been pretty good for them not to publish dont ya think? lol
