Sr. helped him in a lot of ways and I think by being the Dad he was, Jr. has done very well for himself and not riding his Dad's coat tale. I think it is only fair for drivers to work on their cars and learn all they can about the car and handling on the track. Young drivers have to earn the respect of the older drivers and that helps them a lot, I think. Change the oil or do the brakes. Not just sit in the seat! If all tumbs , wash the car!!! I think if a driver takes a few classes on race cars,to learn the machinices,of it.
