People work together so long that they unconsciously begin to compete with each other and destroy the common goal. Most marriages exist at this level. Both partners love each other dearly. Yet, their marriages become a battle field. They might not even realize it, but their friends and family do. If Kyle and the other racers are going to keep their pay, and job at the level they now enjoy Junior better be competitive. It might cause Kyle some discomfort, and jealousy. However, Kyle is right.
