Kyle Calls Kurt Lazy

Kurt Busch probably won’t be eating any M&Ms any time soon after his brother Kyle called him lazy.

Love or hate him – you have to give Kyle Busch his due. He’ll race anything, anywhere, anytime, and he’s not into the politically correct answers you get from a few other NASCAR drivers.kyle1

Busch called out a few drivers by name for failing to promote local short track racing. When asked why more drivers didn’t show up to race at local tracks Kyle said:

“Because they’re lazy. They don’t want to spend the money, but mostly they just get lazy. Guys like my brother Kurt or Ryan Newman, or Greg Biffle. Biffle made his name in the Winter Heat series at the short track in Tucson, but I don’t see him going back to many short tracks. That would be a good question to ask those guys,” said Busch in an interview with Steven Cole Smith of the Orlando Sentinel.

Some people say Busch can talk the talk – but this time he backed it up. Busch won a 200 lap race Sunday at Lanier Speedway in Braselton, Georgia during the track’s SpeedFest.

No word yet on Kurt Busch’s reaction to being called lazy by his own brother, but this is sure to reignite the family feud between the brothers.

A while back the two weren’t on speaking terms after wrecking each other in the All Star Race. Their Grandmother had to step in and help settle things. Looks like she may have to do so again.

    5. DON’T KNOW IF THEY ARE LAZY; BUT THEY SURE DON’T KEEP THE FANS IN MIND. RACING AT THE SHORT TRACKS ALLOWS SOME FANS THE OPPORTUNITY TO SEE THEM WHEN THOSE FANS CANNOT AFFORD THE TRIP AND TICKETS TO THE LARGE TRACKS.     10. They all have responsibilities but Kyle is a racer and a good one, better than Kurt has ever been or will be. I like the man and hope he does well this year. With the economy the way it is the drivers have to keep themselves out there to keep a job. Look how many have gone down the tubes already! GO KYLE!!!!!!!!!!

    11. I used to think that Kyle was OK, just so young and acting his age, “Young and Dumb”! But as the years have passed he has grown to be a real JERK and would LUV to him in the wall more often by people he does it to and they allow it to slide!
    Would LUV to see Kurt knock out a few of his pearly whites on the Track for ALL the Fans and National TV can see! If anyone needs to be dropped a few pegs, this IS the guy! He is rude, arrogant, obnoxious and just a plain old JERK! The REAL Pros don’t act like this, he should take note and start to GROW-UP, or leave the Sport for Real Drivers!!!

Has anyone even thought it may be THE OWNER’S they drive for and there SPONSOR’S..They get paid a LOT and if they were to get hurt really bad and not beable to race for them, like for weeks or maybe months. Not good! How would you feel as a NASCAR FAN paying all that money and your driver can’t race.
    I WOULD BE PI–ed. I WOULD BE PI–ED EVEN IF I COULDNT SEE MY DRIVER RACE ON TV!!

    16. Get your facts straight before you shoot your mouth off Shrub! I’ve seen Greg Biffle at Cedar Lake Speedway in Wisc. “a short track” a couple times in the past couple years!!! Geez, you are an arragant little p**s ant!!

Yes like Toby,Helen,tcbpat88 said Kyle and some of his fans need to take in all factors.And if you Kyle fans can’t see that this here is another one of his gimmicks to try to get publicity .Yes he was lucky and maybe a bit talented,yet yes he had a good season in 2008.But to keep up his Whatever attitude is going to get him in trouble in the future.But one note here Grandma needs to teach both of them to learn about family& respect,to not socialize do to a track incident they both need to grow up.Kyle let the air out of your head you’ll breath better.

    18. KYLE is the man this year. You know people forget Dale SR. was also a Wildthing an people were mad at him at times but now he is everyones idol I liked him too. But dont think his son deserves all the credit an hoplah he gets (now everyone wants me to go away) but like Kyle I am NASCAR fan an think Kyle is doing what he needs to for the sport just wish he would choose who to talk to about things hope the season is awesome

    20. Just another example of total jerk.Some drivers have families and other responsiblities to take care of during the off season. Kyle has no friends not even his own brother.He’s just running off the mouth as always.GROW UP you little jerk.Grandma should take him behind the woodshed and teach him a lesson about being respectful. I would like to see the other drivers that he has wrecked on purpose to give him a good ole fashion of whoop azz.

    22. Let me first thank all those in NASCAR for what they do for charity. Thanks NASCAR, you truly are helping to make the world a better place.

    Now then, as for Kyle, he’s pretty much the only cup competitor worthy of any attention- both on and off the racetrack. I doubt his latest mouth-off will even be challenged- not because Kurt and the others are any better behaved, but because Kurt and the others simply have lost, or been stripped, of they’re fortitude. Otherwise, they’d get in the mud with Kyle and defend themselves. Either that, or they’re just too damn lazy.

    24. Kyle is a jackass! Not only should grandma kick his ass, butMom, Dad, Kurt and every other person who thinks he is a jerk! And believe me, where I come from that is just about everyone. If he can’t win fair, then he will wreck someone and then cry and complain when he gets it in return! Guess it just goes to show you, nobody wants to spend anytime with him so he has to find someplace to be racing all the time — usually it is his mouth!

    26. Kyle I have watched you race many times. All this negative stuff about you they evidentally wasn’t watching races in the 2008 season when you dominated the track for eight straight wins. I don’t think Nascar is a popularity contest. I think it is about winning races, which you have proved YOU ARE A WINNER. Hope you have a even better season in 2009, hang in there and ignore the critizers, I would like to see if any one could get in a race car and like you do.

    27. Thank you C6Ron! So many talk about how great Kyle is. What an awesome driver, can drive anything. Most all the races he won last year was by putting the true winner into the wall and calling it “just racing”, but when he was put spun, he was like “well if that’s the way they want to race” Jerk!!!
