7/10 mile D shaped asphalt oval. Designed for
both stock car racing and open wheel racing the oval
track will have progressive banking on the turns.
The grandstand will have 75,000 seats with room to
expand with another 50,000 as needed.
Inside the infield there will be room for 100 race
cars and their haulers.
3/8 mile dirt track. The dirt track is Designed
for sprint car racing and is being built to
specifications needed in order to host national events.
3.5 mile road course. The road course is designed
in 2 separate sections that connect to each other. It
will be suited for sports car racing and motorcycle
racing.
1/4 mile drag strip. The drag strip is designed
to accommodate Top Fuel dragsters, Funny Cars and Street
Stock cars as well as motorcycles.
The site will also house an RV park with 5000 slips
for motor homes and campers. 500 slips will be a
drive-through design with electricity, water and sewer
hookups and picnic facilities.
An onsite convenience store and clubhouse will be
located next to the RV park.
In addition to motorsports the park will also host
live and entertainment.
5 clubs and theatres are planned for Alabama
Motorsports Park ranging in size from a 500 seat theatre
to a 3000 seat music hall.
Campers in the RV park will be able to fish in a
fully stocked lake. Kerry Earnhardt is an avid
outdoorsman, and he has taken a personal interest in
developing the lake.
Alabama Motorsports Park has not yet announced any
race dates or schedules since the facility is still
under construction, but there is a Winner's Circle
program that gives you the option to reserve the best
seats for any event.
