Dale Earnhardt Jr doesn't just drive a Chevrolet on the race track. He also has a sponsorship deal with Chevrolet to promote their vehicles.

By partnering with Dale Jr, Chevrolet is able to produce advertising and marketing campaigns revolving around the driver -- including broadcast and print ads, as well as internet promotions at Chevrolet Racing.

Junior also makes a number of personal appearances for Chevrolet such as meeting with Chevy dealers and business partners at the race track, and attending special events as a guest host or speaker.

The red Monte Carlo features Dale Jr and No. 8 emblems on the exterior, along with DEI stripes like Junior drove on the track.

Inside a custom leather interior features Dale Jr's signature stitched into the leather upholstery.

Junior also regularly makes personal appearances for Chevrolet -- at the SEMA show in Las Vegas he introduced "Big Red," a customized Chevy Silverado truck that he worked with designers at GM to develop.

He doesn't just drive a Chevrolet on the race track, Dale Jr owns several Chevrolets including a Silverado truck customized with off-road racing gear that he drives when he's at home in Cleveland, North Carolina.

A 1973 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 is another of Dale Earnhardt Jr's Chevy vehicles. The red Camaro is equipped with a 364 cubic inch V8 Corvette engine producing 440 horsepower .

With Dale Jr's move to Hendrick Motorsports in 2008 the long-time Earnhardt affiliation with Chevrolet is set to continue. Hendrick is unofficially the top Chevy team, and they signed a long term contract renewal with Chevrolet in 2007.

Chevrolet has no doubt invested millions of dollars in partnering with Dale Jr to promote it's brand. The increased goodwill and increased sales they have enjoyed as a result are immeasurable.
