Jr. is a champion in my book. Too much pressure was put on him last year. Let Jr. be his own man and drive the best race he can. Go Jr this year. Have fun and enjoy what you are doing. Wins will come but most important be your own person and have some fun. Best of luck this year.

I totally agree with Penny, Jr is a good enough
driver in his self and people should just leave
him alone. Sure you have problems when you first start out with a different team but hey
Jr knows what he has to do and surely knows
how to drive so just let him be and watch.

The news media, and some fans, of other drivers, have put too much pressure on Junior. They need to leave him alone. They try to make him too much like Sr. Junior is his own man. Like the person said above, Junior is a champion in my book and will always be. The wins will come and he will show everyone that is doubting him wrong. We true people that care about him, not only as a driver, but as a human being will always love you Junebug. Get out there and show all the critics how wrong they are. I whole heartidly agree JR. will always be a champion to me. He has had so many expectations of him since he started racing because of who his daddy is. I think this is his year! I respect him alot because of who he his as a person not because of who his dad is. Don’t get me wrong i loved his dad and always will but he is his own man if people would let him be that. So with that said, GOOD LUCK JR!!!! And lets go racing.

I have always said Jr. is only human like the rest of us …He is capable of a championship and he will just give him time ..He will win and when he does it should shut the naysayers up ..I Like Jr. for the kinda guy he is and always will ..So Jr. just do what you can do and hold your head high as your fans loves you always..

I like JR. as a person, he can’t take the pressure as his father could. He has a good team behind him, but I am afraid his racing career as a real competitor are done.I’m hoping he will prove me wrong.

I live in Canada and Dale Junior has always been my favorite driver whether he wins a race or not.
I agree JR.has to many expectations of him because of who his father is but he is his own man, another individual race car driver and should not have all the expectations that are put on him because of who his father is, I loved his dad but no matter if JR. wins or not we all love him and will still be his fans no matter what.
Good Luck Junior in 2009 and just have fun and ignore all the pressures being put on you, we all know you are number 1 and we all love you
I agree with what Bonnie said that when Junior gives up racing we will be done too, only reason I watch the races is because of Junior and i will have no interest to watch it any more when he retires from racing.

We all have our days when we are put under some sort of pressure, whether it is at our job, taking care of our children, having difficulty with our mate,etc; etc; Sometimes our fans can put our Junior under the same pressures that we all as human beings put upon ourselves. As soon as he can iron out the kinks, he will be back in rare form again. Did any of you know that he is suffering right now with a flu or some sort of virius and not feeling well? Let him be and he will be himself again real soon. Get Well Soon, Dale!

if you all rember right …dale sr. had these problems with winning daytona ….all drivers have problems ….. its all in the luck of the drive…. n ya jr has been sick ….going all around ….he will b better n kickin that chevy around that track.n us fans in illinois will be glued to the tv for daytona ….are super bowl!!!! I have been a NASCAR fan since 1958 and an Earnhardt fan since his sophmore year. Having said that, I transfered my loyalty to Jr. after Sr. died. However, Junior needs to spend a little time in the Gym to give him the extra energy he needs to finish the races and the seaon the way he starts them. Conditioning is important.

JR will be just fine, he will kick this cold/flu thing he has, it is going around the track and town. He is a very special person, he is honest, kind, generous and true to himself. Dale Jr. brings in the fan base to NASCAR. Without him, the stands would be half empty.
He did a phenomenal job coming back from 35th to the top. He’s talented and recognizes his fans. He will be successful in all he does.

Dale Jr makes Nascar just like he made DEI. If for some reason he is out or down laps with no chance to win I turn the channel. If he was not racing I would probally stop going to the races. Other drivers need to be as honest and straight as he is He’s a great role model.
