Dale Earnhardt Jr Gives $1 Million to Victory Junction Camp

NASCAR’s most popular driver has pledged $1 million to pay for a new theatre at Victory Junction Camp.

The Randleman, North Carolina camp plays host to children with serious Dale Earnhardt Jr Donates to Victory Junction Campillnesses. It was founded by Kyle and Pattie Petty in memory of their son Adam.

Dale Jr’s donation will be used to build The Dale Jr. Corral and Amphitheatre.

“There are many reasons why we wanted to get involved with Victory Junction and build this amphitheater, and it starts with the tremendous impact the camp has on these kids,” Earnhardt Jr said.

Mr. Earnhardt will be on hand March 27, 2010 to break ground on project during The Dale Jr. Foundation Physical Disabilities Weekend at Victory Junction.

“Adam and I met each other at an early age, and from that point on our lives and careers were virtually parallel,” said Dale Jr.  “He was as genuine as they get and a great friend.  If I can play a small part in helping Kyle and Pattie keep his dream alive, it doesn’t require a second thought.”

The amphitheatre will allow children at the camp to not only be entertained, but participate in the entertainment.

    5. God Bless you Jr. You just keep proving what a wonderful human being you are. You are humble and a generous man. There are so many children in this Country that suffer debilitating illness that will benefit from your gift. I wish more of us could do the same for these children. I type on children with cancer every days even babies and it is heartbreaking. Thank you Dale Jr. for your generosity and the helping hand you always extend to those that need it.     7. Our dear and precious Dale Jr is the star on earth he is today because of all he does for God’s little ones. He has always had tremendous love and attention in his heart for children. One day he will meet the perfect girl. i could write the script, but will mind my own business. When people say and write “God bless you” to Dale Jr……………….THEY MEAN IT! Dale Earnhardt, Jr. will be remembered waaaay after his days in NASCAR; because he is an Earth Angel and they are very very rare. God loves Dale Junior, and so does His world! Believe me, there is the perfect girl out there for Dale Junior, with no one else to match her anywhere on this earth. When he meets her he will be so happy he will not believe his life on earth could be so blissfully happy………….FOREVER!

Speaking as a member of Junior Nation, this is one of the reasons we are you’re fans, through good times, and not so good times.     Carole, You said it,it’s the way I feel also. There is more to that man then most of us see or hear about. When we do hear things like this it just make’s me feel proud to be a Jr. Fan. Some might say so big deal he gave 1million dollars to some kid’s ..he has it, he will never miss it. Yes your right he does have it & yes he wont miss it….BUT did he have to do it..NO he didnt, he could of just got a new Car,boat, house but he didnt. He is helping so many kid’s and he doesnt even know most of then, one reason is because he was a friend of Adam’ Petty & he wants to help Pattie & Kyle keep that dream alive.
    Dale Jr you are a wonderful man & we are proud to be FAN’S.

    14. Jr. doesn’t have to win races for me to be a fan. It has always been said he is a humble person and it shows in the way he conducts himself. He is not a loudmouth or a bragger or a whiner, he is a wonderful human being that was raised with integrity and honesty. It is too bad that some of his fellow racers don’t follow in his footsteps and conduct themselves as gentlemen like he is. His testifying in congress proves he is very sincere in his quest to help children. I hope that someday he will have children of his own as he will make a wonderful dad. Jr. is the only reason I watch the races and I am very proud to call myself a fan of this man.

    15. Thank you Dale Jr for remembering your country. So many are sending their gifts and contributions to other countries that have no affiliation with USA. All they do is critizie our country. but thisgift will help our children and our economy. Thank you for remembering your roots and the people that love and support you. I know other foreign countries have needs but so do we and we need to take care of our own first.     16. Jr has always been a kind and compassionate person. He may not win every race but the track is not the only place to win. He was taught to care for others and to give of himself just as his dad did. I am proud of Jr. no matter if he never wins again(which he will). God Bless you Jr. Be Safe.
