Want to ride the Dale Earnhardt Intimidator 305 Roller Coaster?

Kings Dominion amusement park just outside Richmond, Virginia is preparing to open the Intimidator 305 – a Dale Earnhardt themed Giga-coaster that will be the tallest and fastest coaster on the East Coast.

The first drop on the Intimidator 305 is 300 feet – and it reaches a top speed of 92 mph.

The $25 million ride has 6 airtime humps and 3 high speed turns.

All that kinda sounds like a lap around Bristol.

The ride opens up next April. Will I see you there in line to ride it?

    2. They need a ride like this in Wichita, kansas, and maybe the city council will see Nascar fans here need a track for the drivers.

    4. Me too Randy, I am a roller coaster nut. The bigger the better. Don’t know when I will be down in that neck of the woods but for sure if I am I’ll be on that coaster.

    8. I can’t wait. Kings Dominion is 30 minutes from my house. I’ll be holding my breath until it opens. Two of my biggest loves in life are Dale Earnhardt and going fast, faster, fastest. KD here I come!

    10. This is great, but we need one here in Chicago too. There are many fans right here in Chicago, Dale Sr. and Dale Jr. were able to see that first hand before the track was built here. I have a lot of friends that don’t understand stock car racing and I have personally changed their minds about this being truly a sport. I think every amusement park in the country should have this ride to get more people involved into NASCAR !
