Photos of Dale Jr’s 70,000 Fan Car

It took more than 200 hours for the crew at Hendrick Motorsports to design and wrap the No. 88 Chevrolet with more than 70,000 fan names. Hendrick Graphics Director Jim Gravlin spent 80 hours just designing the stencil by hand before creating the project on his computer. Each name appears in 13 point font.

    4. How do we know if our name is on JR’s car? I know I signed up immediately when QVC and JR announced it would be done for the first 70,000. I want to know if my name will be on the Dega car?

    6. Actually, I don’t know where exactly your names are located on the car. Ampenergy.com is going to have a grid up by tomorrow — try checking over there.

    Otherwise, I guess you’ll have to head over to Talladega and see for yourself ;)
