Any statement from Jr. that I have heard sounds as though he has already gotten himself pumped up and excited about next year. We all have to think possitive that the new changes are going to be for the better and the 88 team will be competitive from the start of the season. I am sure Jr. has always wanted to be better-but the situation just wasn't for that this past season, I'm wondering if the Hendrick company was focusing too much on JJ and Jeff to bring it all home and since Jeff didn't finish too good in the chase, Hendrick thought it time to get Jr. in better position. Don't know the true answer, but it really looked like it all season. I don't think Jr. needs his own car, my gosh---let him drive where he doesn't have all the responsibility.Let focus on driving and leave the headaches to the owner.

I sure hope Jr. has a better year, in 2011. He deserves it and maybe the switch to a different crew chief and a new garage area will make a difference, I get so tired of hearing Jimmy Johnson all the time. It is time for a new winner, and certainly not Kyle Busch. Jr. is a good driver and he can do it next year, with all the support of his crew. I think Hendrick's knows that Jr. is popular enough without winnings, so he doesn't care if he wins or not. Suppose Jimmy or Jeff Gordon went 2 years without winning one single race, (Jeff didn't win this year) don't you know they would be forgotton about soon? But not Jr. and Hendricks knows it too.Jr. is the most popular driver in nascar. I hope he races his little heart out next season.I am definitely a Dale Jr. fan and always will be. Jr. I am here for you even if you never win a race again. But I know you will.

Sorry but I would NEVER be a Kyle Busch fan even if he was the only driver out there! Don't like him or his driving style.....past, present or future! I will be a fan of Dale Jr until the day I die.

Jr., read the article giving your remarks after you received the MPD award. Picked up on the fact that you are going to have the same distractions as in the past 3 years. I have faced the fact that the current people surrounding you just do not understand that you are a race car driver and not some old man sitting in a board room sucking on a bottle of scotch with drool running down your chin. I have got to tell you that some jerk also tried to change a friend of mine. In his time off, he liked to put on a flannel shirt and chop wood or ride his favorite horse. He owned a ranch you see and enjoyed checking out his property. He was running for the top office in the land, and this jerk decided that it was not a good thing to be himself and proceeded to try and change him. That is what folks surrounding you are trying to do. This man was alot luckier than you are, he had people surrounding him that knew that to take a person and try to change him only made him unsure of himself and made him look bad. Lucky for him and the good ole USA, that mans wife got the jerk fired. That can't happen for you because you have contracts. You do have long time fans that do see what these folks are doing to you and have no respect for these people. We are behind you 100%, and realize that you have passed the half-way mark. 2 years, 2 weeks and 2 days left and you can drive for either yourself or someone else, be yourself and compete. So hang in there, like I said, your real longtime fans are with you and are not going to tell you how to act or what to do when you are driving a race car. We are with you all the way for the duration of these darn contracts and beyond. Oh, the man the jerk tried to change, his name was Reagan, you were 6 when the jerk tried to change him, and 10 when he got elected to his second term. Hang in there Jr. we longtimers are with you!

People like winners, when drivers don't win people go away to a winner of a driver. That is what I call not a true fan. People ask me when I say I am a Notre Dame fan, first thing they ask is WHY? Are you a Catholic, my answer is no. Why am I a Notre Dame fan you ask, been a fan since Dr. Lou Holtz days, and since then through the good and bad will always cheer for Notre Dame Football. Play like you are a champion. I think also about Rudy. Rudy also started doubting if he ever get on the team, and finally got on the team and wonder when he get to go out a play. He was the first and last player of Notre Dame to be carried off the field. How is this related to NASCAR you ask. There was a time when Dale Earnhardt Sr had a down swing, after some of his wrecks he had in the past. Then he won 1998 The Daytona 500. I stayed a fan in good times and bad times for Dale Earnhardt Sr.
For Dale Earnhardt Jr, you are a great driver. I have supported you through thick and thin. We don't know what goes on behind close doors. 2011, now you will be in the same garage as 48 team, it is time to show yourself that you still have it.
My advice for Dale Earnhardt Jr is please PLEASE communicate to your team. I know the car today isn't the same car as you first began, I know dad had your cars to be set up to your liking. You have been through a lot, but know that your dad up in Heaven is very proud of you. You have to communicate and need to get your team to all pull together instead of pulling all different directions. You are part of the team.
When I got to meet you in 1998 and 1999 at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway, your team was a team, a family. I went up to your air pressure man before the race and ask him for a autograph. He looked at me, and said I am not Dale Earnhardt Jr. I told him I know that, I would like your autograph. He said can I ask why? I told him that he was part of the team, one of the pieces for you to finish in Victory Lane. Then, I told him, Let me put it this way. Dale Jr, in the ACDELCO #3 car, goes out and make laps, then come in get out of his car change his tires, fill his car full of fuel make adjustments and get out before anyone else. I told that guy it is impossible for that to happen, he is a part of the team. Then I looked at him again and said now can I have your autograph. I got his autograph, as well as other people on your team.
Since the day your dad passed away a lot of turmoil as happen to you, your family and team. 10 years will be since then on February 18, 2011, please don't do it to honor your dad, but 2011 let it be the beginning of a successful career of Victory Lane many times for you and your team. Teamwork is what make championship, you are part of that piece, you and your entire team have to pull back together. I know you can do it, but we have to have all the pieces of the puzzle to make sure you get that championship in 2011. Never doubt yourself, you are your best or worst enemy. Just get in the car, focus, in 32nd place, goal top 25, then top 10, and pick one car at a time. You can do this. You have to believe it again. Your team, your fans are behind you. Now Dale Earnhardt Jr you have to be positive and focus. I will be in Victory Lane in Daytona, California, Texas, and so forth. You can do it.

Well from what I've heard and the way that Dale Jr seemed after Mr Hendricks
changed crew chiefs around. Something just clicked and he stood upright and said that this is going to he's year and I believe that. I have always been a true Dale Jr fan never gave up on him, that is what true fans do is always back their driver be there when the race did not happen for them and when him and this crew can celebrate in victory lane.
Of course this comes from a true Jr fan.

so I'm no Jean Dixon, but with the crew swaps that went on a couple of weeks ago, Jr. will do better in 2011 and will be holding the championship trophy in November 2011.
