Danica Patrick Will be Good for NASCAR
Today Danica Patrick announced that she will drive a JR Motorsports No. 7 Chevrolet in 12 NASCAR Nationwide Series races in 2010.
“It’s been a long time coming, but the stars finally aligned for me with Go Daddy and JRM,” Patrick said about her 12 race deal for 2010. “I have always said I love to drive, and if I could make it work to race in both Indy Car and NASCAR then I’d love to drive in NASCAR!”
Danica will be good for NASCAR.
And if she can run up front, lead laps and win a race that will be great for NASCAR.
She will bring more fans to the race track at a time when tracks need all the fans they can get.
She will bring more TV viewers that will bring more advertisers and sponsors. That only strengthens the sport.
